You're in the North Woods of northern Minnesota on a remote lake in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. You've been paddling a canoe since dawn, racing to your next camp before afternoon storms settle in. You make it just in time to pull your canoe to shore, pitch your tent, and climb inside. Content with your effort, you settle into your sleeping bag to listen to the storm pass overhead.
This recording features a wilderness rainstorm in all of its glory. There is no noise pollution of any kind, just the soothing sound of rain, wind, thunder, and occassional birds and frogs.
As with any recording that features low frequency sounds such as thunder, it's best to listen with headphones or a sound system with bass capabilities.
